Top Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in the Netherlands: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top Maps and Navigation apps on Android in the Netherlands showcased interesting trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

ANWB Onderweg & Wegenwacht saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.3K in early January and peaking at nearly 19.5K by the end of March. The app's active user base also grew from approximately 204.7K to 340.7K over the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady growth in downloads, beginning at 4.4K and rising to 6.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly but ended with a solid count of 312.3K.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a stable download pattern, with a slight peak at 6.9K downloads in late February. Active users showed a moderate increase, closing the quarter at 120.4K.

Flitsmeister demonstrated strong performance in both revenue and user engagement. Revenue peaked at $36.1K in late March, while downloads increased from 3.3K to 9.7K. Active users reached a high of 501K.

Finally, Bolt: Request a Ride saw a mixed trend in downloads, with an early high of 4.6K dipping mid-quarter, then recovering to 4.4K. Active users remained relatively stable, ending at 56.5K.
